Painters Health

Most painters don't realise how many chemicals they are exposing themselves to every time they pick up the brush. The World Health Organisation classifies occupational exposure as a painter as 'carcinogenic to humans'.

This is because the chemicals in paint accumulate in the human body over time, and are absorbed through the skin and lungs. Over time this results in a higher risk of lung and bladder cancer amongst painters, and even leukemia in the children of painters.
