Eco-Industrial Coatings

New technology is allowing some Australian companies to manufacture high-performance paints, including two-pack solventless epoxies, waterproofing coatings, flooring paints and metal primers using water-based formulations, for use in the mining and industrial sector. Water-based and high solids technology is far preferable to conventional chemically-fixed and solvent-based products, as it reduces exposure of the environment and applicator to toxic chemicals during manufacture and application.
